My Takeaway Order
I love pasta, so when I heard about this place being known for their fresh homemade pasta, I had to try it out. My first time going to Pasta & Cuore was for my birthday in 2018. I can’t exactly remember what I got, but knowing me, I would have probably ordered a filled pasta like ravioli or tortellini. What I do remember is that I came out of that meal very full and very impressed with the pasta. The service was good, but not very memorable. Because of the extra labour involved in making homemade pasta, the price was quite steep for a bowl of pasta (upper $20s), but I didn’t mind the price for delicious food.
I had my birthday this year over lockdown, and all I’ve been craving is homemade pasta (since I can’t make it myself), and Pasta & Cuore instantly came to mind. Lucky for me they have a takeaway menu, so I was sorted! We started with a traditional antipasto platter. All the cured meats tasted so fresh and the round bread rolls were a perfect addition. The hubby and I both wanted lasagna, but we got two different kinds. I absolutely LOVE anything with truffle so I couldn’t pass up the mushroom and truffle lasagna. My hubby got the traditional bolognese lasagna. Both lasagnas were cheesy, fresh, and delicious! I was pleasantly surprised by the portion, it was massive!
